How To Remove All Your Google Web History?
As most of you already know, Google keeps a tab on pretty much everything you do on a Google site, provided that you signed in on any one of these websites. Everything you do is recorded, and can be used against you in the future. Search data can reveal particularly sensitive information about you, such as facts about your location, interests, age, religious views, and so on. You can, however, choose to not be so vulnerable, and can remove all of your Google web history to protect yourself from an unforeseen eventuality.
In this post, I'll show you how to remove your entire Google web history.
Before we begin, please note that any data you remove will be deleted permanently. Google keeps a lot of useful information that helps you find what you're looking for faster. It gives you quick access to webpages you've visited in the past, and even lets you know in search results which pages you've visited, and when. This information can be useful if you're a power user, and like to get things donequickly.
But if you still want, you can go ahead and erase your entire web history. You can also pick and choose individual items to remove, so that you won't lose everything.
Delete your Google Web History
Step 1: Visi your Google History page at https://www.google.com/history. Alternatively, you can click the gear icon
- Step 2: Click on the gear
icon again, and then go to Settings.
- Step 3: Click on the delete all link. You'll be prompted for a confirmation. Click on Delete all again, and your entire search history is gone!
- Step 4 (optional): Click on the Turn off button on the Settings page to stop Google from storing your history again
If you don't want to delete your entire history, you can select individual items from the History main page, and delete them. This, by no means, implies that Google has nothing more to do with your data. They still keep some of your information on their servers for auditing and other such purposes. But at least your personal data is off the line now, and isn't susceptible to leaking out into the wrong hands.
Rest easy :)
Simple Cool Tricks With Chrome Developer Tool
As you probably know, there is a button on the right-click menu of Google Chrome and IE 10+ called ''Inspect element''. This the developer tool. And you can have a lot of fun with it. I'll give you two examples on how to use it in this tutorial.
1. Change the text of a webpage:
You can have fun on webpages just by changing the value of a <span> (a text label). For example, go on the 4shared.com site (a free file sharing site). Then create an account if you don't have one (or just connect with Google, Facebook or Twitter). When you are done, upload something that is heavy (more than 100 MB) by dragging and dropping it on the home page of 4shared. Then you can see an uploading status window on the screen. So right-click on the percentage and click on ''Inspect element''. Now you can see a little window that appears on the bottom of the web browser. There are to ways : either you got the number or you got the % symbol. If you got the number, try to find the symbol below. Then double-click on it and type what you want (Eg: '',000,000 dollars in my bank account'')
2. Get a Non-Crypted password in JS/PhP code:
Some sites are not very safe and just verify the password directly in the PhP/JS code. Then, even if it become rare, you can get the password. Just follow these steps :
- Find the login form on the website you want to hack
- Right-click on it and then click on ''Inspect element''
- Search on the window that appeared ''<form'' and then ''action=''
- After it, there is a URL, If it ends by ''.js'', just copy it and paste it in the URL bar of your browser
- If it ends by ''.php'', type ''view-source:'' before pasting the URL
- Then search something like ''password'' in the code.
WARNING: This method works better with JS than with PHP. Sometimes, there is no URL after ''action='' but just a JS function. Then you have to press Ctrl+U to see the source and search for ''password'' in the whole code.
